Swapping SECU from 99 into 01 - bad idea?
Hey guys, my 01 g20's remote unlock hasn't worked ever since I got it - don't know if it's remote or SECU
I was able to get my hands on remotes and the SECU from a '99
I know the remotes aren't the same (missing the trunk button) so I can't program them
So I thought maybe I can swap out the SECU (little white box)
Would this work? Will it mess up any function at all?

The '99 is not interchangeable with the '00 - '01 or '02 P11's.
Ah crap... lol thanks for saving me the hassle of unbolting anything
