PLease search the forum first. You'll find the answer to your question there. It should come up with both information and links to other sites that'll provide the information needed.

I just let Justin know. Glad I could help. =)

Seriously, you need to do a lot more homework and ask better questions. It's not that no one wants to help, but your question is such that the answer is meaningless.

Try and think of what a real estate agent would do if you walked into their place and said, "I need a house." If you haven't done your homework or thought about what is available you'll get taken to the cleaners or end up with something that you hate. You might get a good deal on the house of your dreams, but your chances are slim.

Brilliant Jason!

I'm going to have to save this. An excellent way of putting it.

To make your life easier...go and buy all the stuffs I listed below my signature....I wouldn't guarantee it will fit completely but at least it will give you an idea of what I've gone through......That's a year and half worth of research, yet it never ends......

As far as turbo kit? Hmmm......there are a few available for the SR20DE. This you gotta look around......

J, the point of being a real estate agent is that they will provide the service to you. One of which is to help you LOOK for the house that you pre-determined (cost, location, etc). But definitely, buying a house without any knowledge in the construction industry, or even price range, you might end up getting craps! The same can be said for turbo. True.

You still have a lot more homework to do and you need to specify a fair bit more before anyone can effectively help you. There are plenty of SR20 resources on the web that should help you with your homework.

You could search the archives here.
You could search the SE-R mailing list archives.
You could search the SR20DE forum archives.

From this you should be able to find out enough to make your head spin. But, you'll need to spend some time sorting it out and figuring out what you want. I'm sure there are plenty of places in the UK that sell turbos. =)

There's a lot of us UK guys on here. Most of us have done a lot of research into adding a turbo. There is no straight forward answer to doing it as you have a staggering number of options.

I'm guessing by the way you are asking, you aren't planning on doing any of the work yourself. That puts Kev Shek's ( www.p11-gt.co.uk ) method out. Fine.

Turbo kits for the primera GT as far as I can tell are pretty much non-existent the closest is some of the kits hotshot sell, and they are not for the G20, let alone the GT, but they are close, and I don't see why they couldn't be made to work if you are prepared to put the effort in, or splash the cash and get somebody else to put the effort in.

Another option is a full engine transplant, but we're talking serious cash here. Ant nissan specialist tuner in the UK would probably be prepared to do it, providing you were prepared to keep on pumping cash into the task.

And just a tip, (yeah I'm gonna sound like a stuck up **** now) the people on this forum , from both sides of the atlantic are on the whole pretty smart and willing to help. The UK has a fairly good representation on here, so don't blow it with "I'm desperate for a turbo"

Ask a sensible question and they'll probably help you out.
Good luck with the Primera
Cheers

First off, lemmie just repeat what people have already said, 'Youll have to do some homework.......' Its taken me from January this year till now just to get as far as i have, but i did spend about a year pondering the idea of a turbo on my Primera.

Its not as simple as bolting on the turbo, but more to do with whats gonna make it run right. Theres been sooo many unforseen problems that ive come across and have had to pay heavily to sort them out. My suggestion is, take a look thru ALL 10 pages of my updates, see what ive done, have a think about how you can apply the same processes.

So far, i estimate that ive spent around £3K doing the turbo conversion so be prepared to part with around the same, but remeber, i done most of the work myself, to keep the price down, so if youre thinking of asking a UK based tuner to do it for you, youll be looking about £4500-£5000 i reckon.

Be warned! when i first started this, i contacted many companies and i got the feeling that they thought i was just pulling their legs, so dont expect everyone to help, but you will find some good tuners out there. Try DP Motorsports, Norris Design, basically the contacts ive mention throughout the updates.

One last thing, its not gonna happen over night, no matter how desperate you are. By rushing things youll just end up with a f**ked engine, oh and buy a second car, your primeras gonna be off the road for a bit.
