I followed the instructions posted by someone else, and still can't find this thing.
Is it under the intake manifold? Does it look like a typical starter?
Does anyone have any tips for changing this badboy out??
For starters, you might want to get a FSM or a Haynes/Chiltons Sentra SE-R/NX2000 manual. That would make things a lot easier.
This is not an easy illustration to describe in text.

Yes! The starter is under the intake manifold/plenum. It connects to the engine at the upper portion of the tranny by two bolts. and sits right in front of the cossmember engine mount bracket. The 14mm bolts go through the tranny from the drivers to the left of the throttle body and then bolts to the starter on the other side of the tranny.
It looks like a large soup or bean can with wires connected to it.
This is definitely a two man project. :-\
