^basically!! I mean I wouldn't pay an extremely exorbitant amount but I would pay a bit for one! Every time I see one for sale I notice it like 10 minutes too late!

Yeah that's kinda lame. They buy the forum to let it die? They have people wanting to grow the following but won't allow them to make promotional items to grow traffic that makes them $? Weird.

Gotta consider it this way, they make money on the advertising and footprint of the forum, to have a license plate frame with raised two color lettering is roughly $20 a piece, to get a bulk order for pricing to drop you generally have to buy 100 or more. If You only have 7-10 people purchasing a plate, you are sitting on $1,800 worth of product that the likelyhood of selling over the next year or two is minimal.But they are a for-profit business, right? I talked to them prior about this but I never really heard back about it, if they give me the OK I'll make a custom run of some, but they won't be as cheap as they were ($15). You could even start a pre-sale/pre-pay thread...given who you are - I highly doubt anyone would have a problem giving you a pre-payment of $20 or even $40 dollars to get in on a new batch of these (even if production/shipment was months away).
