I have some EGR block off plates for sale. They are 1/8" 6061 aluminum. They are a raw mill finish. So how I get the material is how you get the material. If you want it pretty it can be arranged and for a cost. Stainless can be had aswell for a cost.

Price is $8 shipped via a white envelope with a stamp on it.

I can make any block off plate you want for the same price. Hi port, Low port, RR. Just have to send me a gasket or I will buy the gasket and you pay me $8 plus the cost of the gasket.

hey rob.....could you maybe do a how to on doing this?>

i kinda know....but im not 100% what all comes out...

i will be buying on of there....

also might want to list the pro's & cons of doing this

Pro's:

cleaner bay
cheaper then buying a new EGR (if it's broken)
may fix idle and acceleration problems (if you EGR is malfunctioning)

Con's:

higher combustion temps
won't pass emission / inspection
will have SES, CEL on (can be shut off by using resistor on all years except 00+)

Can't really do a how to but basically you unbolt your EGR and bolt this plate up. Some vac lines will need to be capped or rerouted and a plug for the header is needed. There is so much info on EGR delete that I would not want to clutter up a FS thread with it. If anyone needs any assistance after searching then make another post or PM me and I will try and help. My knowledge is limited to the 99 lowport though.

On the RR or our Lowports it's hardly noticable as our EGR and BPT is under the manifold. But on a Highport they are right ontop and the difference is noticable. Look at your car and look at the two big disc shaped things. Those come off and this nice little plate goes there in it's place.

Here is a pic of the EGR that is removed

This is a pic of the BPT and bracket that are also removed on the Lowport.

Cool and great economic pricing!!! :)

Can you make one for a GA16DE?

I just trace the gasket and then cut them out of metal. So yes I can do any EGR.

Come on you gross polluters! Who cares the quality of air our children breathe anyway! I'm broke and need money to fund my project restoration p11!

If you have a DET and are using the japanese intake manifold then you have no place to put this.

The egr gasket for SR's and GA's are the same size. At work I looked it up on Znet and checked out the gasket to double check.

Damm i need one probably next week when i get my other head

rob bring at least one down to the meet in norwalk. i'll take 1 for sure and possibly others will too. thanks

so you cant use a resistor to shut off the SES light for the EGR on a RR?
Koojo couldn't ever figure it out. But a guy on b15sentra.net and the "dash" said he got it to work.
