I love the grill, the lip (is that a lip?) and the black mouth. I don't like black rims, black side skirts, or hood scoop.

I say wash it up and you have yourself a fine looking ride.

As I said in PM, that's definitely a roller-rocker SR20DE, not an SR20VE. It doesn't have the solenoids, doesn't have the IACV in the same location as on the VE, and has a roller-rocker throttle body. It also has an Infiniti valvecover, and although the roller rocker valve covers fit the VE, it's unlikely anyone swapped back to it.

Also, in the album, you say the header is a Nismo one, but that looks exactly like an OBX/SSAC/eBay one, so I don't think it's Nismo. In fact, I don't think Nismo even made headers for the FWD SR20.

That is the truth. I think the car looks fine. I like the black lip. Be nice if you had a SR20DET with a top mount with that hood scoop. Welcome to the G20 family. The guys here are just trying to point out that the guy who sold it to you was a fake. :angry:

yea those are grounding wires, they are most likely nology spark plug wires.

de motor is still a sr20.....i like the nologys...ive had them before though and i think they kill your stock coil before its time......but you just upgrade to a msd coil and...

cool car man. i think you can do better though.keep it going i like the builds that are different.

 

thanks guys for your responds really the car wasnt taken care of the guy who sold it to me said it had a v4 on the phone thats all im going to say.

but yeh i have a scrap p11 with no motor or interior and its black so i might swap the hood black top it and if someone can help me find another rear bumper and gold side skirts i honestly like the car alot it drives good and has an amazing acceleration my gf has a 99 g20 and its auto i blow her away from 4th gear launch. doing 45-50. so idk what ever the guy has done or better yet tried to do is weird.

Sorry, it's impossible to tell anything by those pics. You probably need a better camera and you definitely need to get a different angle and rotate the pics before uploading.
