flat black rims are terrible. lol they look a little better in person, but still just god awful haha. and i love gold or bronze! only thing im worried about is looking like a fooligan mcgooligan painting stock meshies a bit of a flashy color. copper is bad ass though! and et1 + bronze/gold = so sexy.

its kind if like since i've done so much ricey shit in the past, i want to make up for it and make the car as stock as possible lol. i want to go silver but i know that i'll be so bored with that!

im conflicted. but at least bronze is gnet approved :)
doesn't have to be flashy, but the tone should be lighter than the body color. trust me, it'll set the car off, especially at that height. and clear coat isn't necessary, i actually have this gritty textured gold paint i want to use on some shitty rims.

hm, so how do you feel about that gold from my old vc pics on the wheels? i've always had a thing for gold or bronze, but i never had the balls to go for it

i kinda like bronze since it matches so well with et1, yet still contrasts. im bad at picturing things though lol

exactly that shade, i call it a dirty gold. i would even leave the same finish, no clear. shit would look hot on Autumn Bronze.

oh em gee i fucking love driving a g20.

went down to nc for my grandma's memorial service so i spent a lot of time driving/riding around in my dad's stock 06 accord. got back tonight and drive my baby to get some gas. the comparison was unreal. my dad's car is nice and comfy, but its like driving around mashed potatoes. my car felt like a freaking go kart lol. little loud for my taste but id rather loud than whisper silent. i didnt even know i turned my dad's car on the first time it was my turn to drive lol. everything about it was so soft! when i was driving it i didnt feel much body roll, but driving that car then my car, i felt what no body roll really felt like. plus it felt so planted. LOVE it :). the only things i like about the accord was better gearing (g20 auto third gear blows!), the fact that i could go over any bump i wanted and not give two shits, and the fact that there were less unwanted noises. other than, i wouldnt trade my g20 for anything :)

on the other hand, there still needs a lot of work to be done

Frozen rear calipers
New CV joints/axles needed
Engine want to jump out of the car/clunks on take off = new motor mounts, x-member bushings look completely shot. Naturally i'm gonna want to upgrade - probs ES 14-504, charlie or lorens xmember bushings = $$$. We shall see.
gotta rebuild LCA's - moog ball joints, es front bushings, charlies rear bushings. Maybe just ES bushings and ball joints. Again, we shall see.
UCA's
Exhaust still droops and leaks every now and then - lap joint needed

ugh. sucks, but i guess it all be worth it in the end. but i'll still have fucked up paint and a giant dent. idk if its even worth it to fix.

got the brakes replaces. cross drilled and slotted rotors and el cheapo pads up front, new calipers, blanks, and decent pads in the rear.\

finally got my hands dirty on some brakes with the helpful eye of a certified mechanic/polytech teacher felt good :). and then i proceeded to rip f the splash gaurd covering the crank pulley on a speed bump/small hill in his driveway

and just for you jeff, me and my buddy might have a euro/jdm photoshoot later tonight. haha mk4 gli, mostly stock, but he does a pretty rad exhaust lol. and my beat ass p11. should be a hell of a shoot! hopefully i'll be able to salvage a few pics.

quickie from the big shoot. note the lack of gaping holes in the bumper where fog light would go. i think the finishers clean things up nicely :). and the lip is installed more to my liking. more ground clearance than i'd prefer but i can live with it haha.

more to come when my buddy emails them to me

some more pics from yesterday:

buddy's car is an 01 gli vr6. only mods as of now are a grounding kit and 42 draft designs exhaust. he had some low and some spacers, but the front shocks were blown (used fk streetlines if i remember correctly). at any rate, it looked pretty good while it lasted. i'll see if i cant dig up some pics.

without any further delay, lets get started!
